DBO Ministries was born out of the obedience of a teenage boy, our founder, Ronald Mendez, and has been serving different populations in Guatemala since 2014. Our goal is to meet physical needs and help transform children and families and in turn build the necessary trust to meet the greatest need we all have, the need for a Savior. We share the love of Jesus each and every day as we continue to show up for the families we serve, but many times those we serve are not able to receive the good news as their stomachs are growling or they are cold or thirsty. We strive to cover these basic human needs so that they can open their eyes to not only see, but feel the love of Jesus and know that He is our only hope. 

DBO Ministries is founded on biblical truths and our biblical basis is Matthew 25:40. This story of the sheep and the goats gives a clear picture of the great importance that the vulnerable, needy and despised people of this world have for our God. So we serve them! "Freely you have received, freely give!"
